A Jersey Girl in the South?

Sounds like the plot of a fish-out-of-water movie, but it's real life for Whitney Lynn.

Whitney Lynn is the CEO and Founder of Ignite Your Light Ministries, Inc. (Non-Profit Organization to Ignite the Light of Jesus in children globally with an uncompromising faith in Christ). Whitney is deeply rooted in a Musical theater background, and Pop music of her home state. But stints and professional performances in Branson and Nashville opened her eyes; thus broadening her horizon in other genres.

Whitney has hosted and sang at Disney's Night of Joy for TBN, the largest Christian Television Network, as well as performed as an Actress, Singer, and Children's producer and director for their theme Park, The Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida. Under the direction of Jan Crouch, (her spiritual mother and mentor), Whitney was given the opportunity to sing her original music and produce her own kid's show, Ignite Your Light. In addition to playing every woman's role in the Bible, including Mary, (Jesus' mother), she also has sung backup for major artists such as: Donnie McClurkin, Karen Wheaton, Jason Crabb, Michael English, and Guy Penrod, on several Praise the Lord episodes for TBN. 

During Whitney's 6 year career with TBN, before the Theme Park closed, she was nominated for "Best Female Performer" for the IAAPA Award in 2013. Only 1 out of 3 Females in the entire world receive nominations. Some of those parks include: Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios Japan, Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, Disneyland Paris, Hershey Park, Dollywood, Sixflags, and more.

She has appeared on several TV stations worldwide and opened for Sheila Ray Charles, legendary Ray Charles' daughter, as well as sung for Roy Fields and Eddie James.

Whitney also toured to India doing Gospel crusades, as a Musicianary, "a missionary in music," where she ministered and lead worship in front of crowds as large as 30,000 people. Thousands of souls dedicated their lives to Christ, were delivered, and healed. 

What makes Whitney so unique as a performer is the dynamic mix of influences, which you hear in her music. Her Angelic voice can be heard on the radio and the web, in which she gives all glory to God too. She has also co-written and recorded songs with 5x Grammy Award Winning Producer and Engineer: Dru Castro.

Whitney's Original Children's musical TV show, Ignite Your Light Kidz, where she is introduced as the World's first Christian Singing princess, is currently airing on 13 TV networks Nationwide, Canada, and Nigeria under CBN's 700 Club's Flame TV.

Her love for Jesus is evident not only in her music, but in her actions towards others as well. Her heart's ultimate desire is to see the lost come to Christ, the broken-hearted healed, the abused and bound set free, and the upcoming generation set on fire for Jesus!
